1. Tech Pack and Product File
The production process begins with the preparation of a tech pack, a document set that includes all product details such as measurements, pattern, fabric, stitching, and accessory specifications. You may either submit your own tech pack or have K&B Moda’s team create it based on your product brief. In pyjama production, parameters such as elastic width, waistband details, stitch density, and size grading are defined at this stage.
2. Fabric Selection and Sampling
After approval of the tech pack, suitable fabric alternatives are presented according to the target segment, budget, and seasonal requirements. Following fastness and wash resistance tests, pilot sample production is carried out using the approved fabric.
3. Sample Approval
The produced sample is delivered to the customer both as a physical shipment and a photo-based digital report. At this stage, fit, fabric feel, stitching quality, and color accuracy of the pyjama can be evaluated in detail.
4. Production and Quality Control
Bulk production is carried out based on the approved sample. Key quality parameters in pyjama manufacturing include size accuracy, stitch density and tension, elastic consistency, neckline and cuff finishing, print/embroidery placement, and surface defect inspection. In-process quality checks are performed, and finished goods undergo final inspection before shipment.
5. Packaging and Shipment
Pyjamas are packed according to the customer’s specified packaging instructions. Options include polybags, hanger packaging, carton boxes, or custom-printed zip bags. Size and color labeling, barcode integration, and preparation of export documentation are also handled within this stage.
