Introduction
Contract manufacturing means a brand bringing its product to life by partnering with an experienced factory, without setting up its own production facility. The most critical decision for brand owners is determining which model suits their needs: who will handle the design, who will source the fabric, and whether production will be order based or stock based. At K&B, we have been answering these questions with multiple models at our İzmir based factory since 1997, building a flexible production partnership tailored to your brand’s size and needs.
OEM Production: Bring Your Own Design to Us
OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing) is the model where you bring your own design, tech pack, or technical drawings, and K&B produces exactly according to these specifications. The pattern development and sampling process is shaped by your measurement chart and technical file, so the final product fully reflects your design vision.
This is K&B’s main working model and is especially ideal for brands that have their own design team and are looking for production capacity. ODM Production: Choose from Our Ready Collection
In the ODM (Original Design Manufacturing) model, you choose from K&B’s own design pool or collection; the design and pattern development are already prepared by us, and you only manage the branding and labeling process. This model brings speed to brands that are launching a new label or looking for a fast launch and don’t yet have their own design team.
At K&B, we carry out a small portion of our production with this model; it’s a preferred option especially for our brands seeking a test collection or a quick market entry.
CMT (Cut & Sew): Your Fabric Takes Shape With Us
CMT stands for cutting, sewing, and trim assembly. In this model, you source your own fabric and accessories, while K&B handles only the cutting, sewing, cut and sew production, and quality control stages. It’s a labor focused partnership for brands with their own supply chain and their own fabric agreements.
Full Package: From Fabric to Shipment, All in One Hand
In the Full Package model, the entire process from fabric sourcing to final shipment is managed by K&B. With our direct from factory production approach, fabric sourcing, patterns, samples, bulk production, labeling, and logistics all proceed under one roof, so the brand doesn’t need to manage its own supply chain separately.
At K&B, we handle fabric sourcing flexibly depending on the client: we work with the CMT model on some projects and the Full Package model on others; we assess together which one suits you best.
Private Label and White Label: Exclusive to Your Brand or Wholesale?
Private Label means the product is manufactured exclusively for your brand alone, with your own label, hangtag, and packaging solutions applied. White Label (wholesale production), on the other hand, is the model where the same product can be sold to multiple buyers or brands. At K&B, we offer both models; we can work together to determine whether exclusive production for your brand or wholesale supply fits your needs.

MTO: Stockless, Order Based Production
MTO (Make to Order) is a stockless production approach where manufacturing only begins upon a confirmed order. At K&B, all of our production follows this principle, so we don’t carry the risk of unsold products sitting in stock. This approach also aligns with our GOTS and OCS 100 certified production philosophy: minimal waste, producing only what’s needed.
